DUALITY TATTOO
Art has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my notebooks were always filled with sketches instead of class notes, and any blank space became an excuse to draw. Creating was never something I had to force, it was just how my brain worked. Over time, those doodles turned into a deeper love for art, composition, and visual storytelling, and eventually became the foundation for the way I approach tattooing today. I’ve always been fascinated by tattoos, not because every piece needed a deep meaning, but because of the expression itself. I loved the idea of wearing art on the body and committing to strong imagery simply because it looks and feels right. Tattoos felt powerful, permanent, and personal in their own way, and that appreciation for tattoos as art naturally pulled me toward the craft. Coming from a background in art and photography shaped how I see tattoos as complete images rather than isolated designs. I pay close attention to how a tattoo reads from a distance, how it moves with the body, and how contrast and structure hold up over time. Clean fundamentals and clear design are at the core of everything I create. I love doing bold, illustrative tattooing built to last. My work is defined by strong, varied linework, solid black, layered contrast, and intentional color choices. I’m heavily influenced by traditional, neo traditional, Japanese, and gothic styles, and I approach each piece with an illustrator’s mindset, focusing on composition, flow, and visual impact.
Outside of tattooing, I have a lot of interests that keep me inspired and grounded. I play Dungeons and Dragons, watch a lot of Critical Role, and spend plenty of time on my PC either playing video games or hanging out on Discord with friends. I love story driven games as much as I enjoy FPS games, and I’m always down to talk about campaigns, characters, or whatever game I’m currently deep into. Anime was my first real introduction to Japanese culture and aesthetics, and that interest naturally expanded into Japanese art, design, architecture, decoration, and modern media. I’m drawn to the attention to detail, the balance between simplicity and boldness, and how intentional everything feels, from imagery to everyday objects. That love for Japanese aesthetics blends easily with my appreciation for darker fantasy themes, mythology, and mythic creatures like serpents, and it shows up in the way I decorate, collect, and surround myself with things I genuinely love. Thank you to everyone who’s taken the time to look through my work and consider booking with me. I truly appreciate the trust that comes with tattooing, and I don’t take that lightly. I’m always excited to collaborate, create something solid together, and get to know the people who sit in my chair. I can’t wait to tattoo you!
